Little Learners Preschool
Our church operates Little Learners Preschool, for children ages 3-5. Both the 3 and 4 year-old class and the 4 and 5 year-old class (Pre-K) meet two times per week.
Activities are provided in the areas of art, music, children’s literature, concept development, large and small motor skills, dramatic play, listening skills, nature, science, socialization, and others.
Monthly thematic units are a part of our curriculum. These may include topics such as farm, dinosaurs, or insects. Our daily activities are often incorporated into these themes.
The Pre-K class also spends time working on Kindergarten readiness skills. Prereading, early math (such as counting, sorting, and patterns), cognitive (thinking games and puzzles, problem solving) and simple science and sensory, along with self-help skills are a part of each day.
